Working as part of a small, dynamic strategic management team, you’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of services. We’ll expect you to take a leading role in vital areas such as strategic and corporate management; performance management; delivering value for money; and co-ordinating services. You’ll work closely with another Corporate Director and the Chief Executive in maintaining focus on our customers and communities, improving performance, building partnerships and communicating effectively. You will be committed to the values-driven ‘One Team’ ethos which sits at the heart of the organisation.
To tackle the key challenges this opportunity will present, you will have a proven ability at senior management level gained within an equally complex and multi disciplinary organisation, experience of driving team performance, setting standards, managing resources, leading diverse teams and developing external partnerships.
This is a high-profile role which will require you to establish credibility and trustworthiness. Combined with an ability to manage personal relationships, your clear, and innovative, thinking will enable you to deliver strategic change within the organisation. Your personal integrity will be crucial as will, of course, your ability to operate effectively within a political environment.
